PIDATO BAHASA INGGRIS TENTANG PENDIDIKAN

Assalamu ‘Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barokatuhu

Before going on my speech,let’s praise our God Allah SWT , lord of the universe. Him only do we worship and ask for help.Peace may be sentto the hoy prophetMuhammad SAW, his family,his companions, and all Muslim until the end of the time.                                                                                  I won’t forget to convey my thanks to the Mcof tis public speaking club , who has given me opportunity to speak before the audiences.Well, to shorten the time, allow me here to discuss about:

ROLE OF EDUCATIONIN OUR LIFE

            Beloved brother in Islam!As we know that education is the process of transfering knowledge, moral behaviour,  and from one person to another .From this definition we can conclude that education may take place anywhere and anytime; at school, in the mosque,  in the house, in the morning or at night.                                                                                                                           Now, I want to ask you . Is the education important?Of course , education is very important. Through education we can know something that we didn’t know before. Education is the bridge for the success inthe future.Some people say that the higher someone gets his education, the bigger is his opportunity to reach his invention. I think, to certain extents its true because for example, doctor who has studied and graduated from medicial department for six or seven years, will always be  master of a nurse who only finished his or her three years of nursery diploma.                                                   Formally, education is done at school.In Indonesia, there are at least four levels of formal education : Elementary School, Junior and Senior High School and University.Our government has put forward the nine-year compulsory education for school aged-childreen to get education in Elementary and Junior High School free of charge.

            I want to ask you another question, is it enough for us to get education only for nine years ? of course not, but we must continue our education to as highest level as possible.

            I think our prophet Muhammad SAW has given us the instruction to study – or let say – to get education since our birthday untill our death.Islam has better  education concept, because it teaches us the long-life education.There are many hadits or traditions from the prorhet Muhammad SAW which say that we must look for knowledge without limitation of time and place.

            My brother in Islam!

            Today, we stay in this boarding school to look for knowledge and to get Islamic education.Here, we are taught many kinds of subjects, like language, Qur’an, Hadits, Mathematics,  and so on.We are also educated by our honorable teachers how to be have according to the Islamic teaching in our daily life.So, in our mind, education is not only the cognitive process, but also the psychomotor and affective process as well.

            Next time, after graduating from this boarding school we will come back to our society. Its our duty to implement the result of our education to educate our society with Islamic education. We should than be the best example for them in the application of our religion’s teaching.

            From now on, let’s motivate our selves to study harder than before.Remember, that what we do today will give big influence to our future.We may not be lazy student to study and understand our subject everyday.The harder do we study, the better will our achievement be.
